Description
This webinar will engage participants in an interactive session on interesting complications of cleft lip and palate surgery that may be encountered by surgeons in low- and middle-income country settings with limited resources. Special emphasis will be placed on describing complications and proposing solutions for actual problematic cases, some of them still awaiting further intervention. A real-time participant response system will give feedback on responses to each case.
Learning objectives
Describe actual cleft surgery complications from clinical photographs
Discuss possible contributing factors to these complications
Design and propose potential solutions for these complications
Discuss what could be done differently to avoid similar complications
