The course will be over two and half days. The first day’s program consists of a series of didactic lectures and discussions which will enhance the participants’ understanding of the topic and set the foundation for the practical session the following day.

After a short session of lectures and discussions on orbital tumors on the morning of the second day, the rest of the day will be spent in the dissection lab.  Time will be dedicated to the demonstration of various techniques by renowned faculty and the practice of such techniques by the participants on the anatomical specimens.

The third day will be dedicated to the management of mandibular condylar injuries via didactic lectures, discussion and culminates in the honing of surgical skills on anatomical specimens.

Learning objectives
Recognise orbital trauma and describe its possible sequelae and complications
Devise an appropriate treatment plan for each patient with orbital trauma
Familiarize themselves with the different surgical approaches to the orbit for reconstruction with practical sessions on anatomical specimens
Recognise the various presentations of orbital tumors
Describe the management principles for the extirpation of orbital tumors and reconstruction of the orbit
Recognize mandibular condylar injuries, including fractures
Devise appropriate management plans for the mandibular injuries
Familiarize themselves with the different surgical approaches to the mandibular condyle with practical sessions on anatomical specimens
