The course addresses the management of craniofacial tumors and the reconstruction of ablative defects in the craniofacial region.

Topics of the course are addressed in three main ways. The symposium concentrates on understanding the principles of tumor management. Practical sessions covers various surgical techniques applying material covered in the symposium and video demonstrations are used to supplement the practical exercises. Discussions are held throughout the course to link the lecture material and practical skills with the problems encountered by the participants in their individual practice.
